Associate General Counsel (London)
Key Responsibilities
· Call out potential legal/business risks and suggest practicable solutions
· Support to manage or directly resolve various disputes including government challenges, client complaints, and litigation
· Work with business stakeholders in evaluating current business processes and make practical recommendations for improvement
· Manage outside counsels and vendors
· Support and advise on other assignments and matters which may arise from the teams you support and be assigned to you
Requirements and qualifications
· Bachelor of law degree from a top law school, admitted to practice law in the UK
· 3 years’ or above commercial law practice experience in a multinational company and preferably, a top law firm, with solid knowledge, lawyering skills and practical experience
· Decent business acumen, good interpersonal and communicational skills with leadership and ownership
· Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure and prioritize tasks, strategic thinking with down-to-earth problem-solving capability
· Good team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with different levels of people throughout the company globally
